Here is an easy book to make to put in your classroom library!
Assign each student a number. Have them draw a circle map for the number they were given. Then, have your students write in the middle all the ways they can represent that number.
I made this particular book when I taught first grade so I had students show me for different ways.
There are so many more ways you can represent numbers in a book like this:
~more addition sentences
~subtraction sentences
~hundreds blocks
What other ways would you have your students represent numbers in a circle map?
